The short version

We only connect the accounts you choose, only do the jobs you ask of us, and never sell your data or your customers' messages. Disconnect any platform any time and we stop reading it the moment you do.

1. Who we are

Chimr is a tool that looks after the online presence of local businesses, replying to reviews and posting to Google, Facebook and Instagram in the owner's voice. When this policy says "we" or "Chimr", that is who we mean. When it says "you", we mean the business owner using Chimr.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to do the jobs you ask of us:

Account & identity your mobile phone number (used to sign you in via one-time passcode and to send account notifications), your name, and business details you provide (business name, category, address, hours, Google Business listing).
Connected platforms when you connect Facebook, Instagram, or Google Business, you authorize us (through our publishing provider) to access and manage those profiles on your behalf. We do not collect or store your passwords for those platforms.
Reviews, messages and comment social posts and replies we draft for your review, images, and your approvals, edits, and feedback.
Billing processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
Usage & device data log data, device/browser information, and how you interact with Chimr.
What makes your business yours such as the voice notes and details you share during setup, so posts sound like you.

3. SMS / text messaging

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive account notification text messages from Chimr (such as posts-ready alerts and account-status updates). Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using Chimr. To provide and operate Chimr; authenticate you (OTP login); draft, schedule, and publish content that you approve; send you account notifications (e.g., "your posts are ready," failed-post alerts) by SMS and/or email; process billing; provide support; maintain security; and improve the service.

Message frequency varies based on your account activity.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time; reply HELP for help, or email hello@chimr.co.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your mobile number or your SMS opt-in/consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

4. How we use it

We use your information to draft review replies, write posts in your voice, and bring your messages and comments into one inbox. Nothing posts or sends until you approve it. We do not use your customers' messages to advertise to them, and we do not build profiles to sell.

5. What we never do

We never sell your data or your customers' messages to anyone. We never share your information except with the trusted providers that help us run Chimr, and only so they can do that job. We never post to your accounts without your okay.

6. Staying in control

You can disconnect any platform at any time, and we stop reading it the moment you do. You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, and we will. Closing your account removes your business information from Chimr.

7. Keeping it safe

We connect to platforms through their official, secure sign-in, so we never see or store your passwords. We protect your information with industry-standard security, and we keep it only as long as we need it to run your account.
